This is ideal for folks with a few experiences under their belt but are looking to fine-tune a technique. Bring the challenges that you're working through & walk away with clarity , improved skills and a deeper understanding of clay! Personalized & Hands on!

Carrie has been making and teaching ceramics for over a decade. She has worked with over a dozen nationally respect ceramic artists & taught at many local museums and art centers in the region. She is delighted to share her love for clay with her Greenville community.

How much does it cost?

For $150 per class ($75 per person), you can enjoy a 90 minute session with demo, instructions & support. At the end of each class you can pick your choice of glaze (finish) & pick up after they have been completely fired & ready for use

What should I wear?

Clay washes out of clothing very easily, but if you are concerned. Please wear something comfortable & that you are not concerned getting a little dirty. Aprons are available for each student.

What is the difference between hand-building & wheel-throwing clay?

Hand-building with clay involves some tools but largely involves the use of the hands to mould and manipulate the clay into desired form.

Wheel-throwing clay engages the pottery wheel which uses centrifugal force along with water & hand tools to mold the clay into form.

Where are the classes?

Classes are located at CCC Studio (Carrie Creech Ceramic Studio) in Greenville, SC near I-85 & Pelham Rd. The exact address will be shared upon confirming your class.
